It is you, who choose the appointed time. You who judge with equity. You who send the quake, and you who hold the pillars firm. Not the arrogant who boasts, not the wicked who lift their horns in defiance. Not the one from the east or west or the desert who exalts. It is God who judges: He who brings people down, He who exalts. What can I do but praise the God who cuts off all the horns of the wicked and lifts the horns of the righteous up.
