We have to examine our hearts if we have an area of darkness we reserve to ourselves

The fear of man, or the fear of the Lord, the challenge of Jesus
To confess and give it up, I will receive the Lord's forgiveness, undergo cleansing and be transformed

A heart set on reading for worldliness will not be at rest unlike those who have found peace with the Lord

We should look at how to attain His gifts
Preach the salvation, and not peace

But do no forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
The Lord's timing is different from our timing
It is His patience and love that delays Jesus from returning, His chief consideration is our repentance
The call of outreach is urgent

The high calling of God 
Our life is ordained before birth, but I have the freedom to choose

To be faithful in God's word, His work to deliver it

He called us by His own glory and goodness

He will not leave nor forsake us, wiping every tear in our eye
He will complete the work that He has started in us
Are we choosing His great promises over our evil desires

To cooperate in God's spirit

We can build a house of worship, but the Lord is so much greater than the building itself

It is the zeal of the Lord which completes it
A house of living stones
He places me where He has prepared for me

People who dwell by the spring listen, and go to Him
Amen.

Am I a sheep that has trailed off from the shepherd
