The Day of rejoice

Ezra 10:10-12
Applies to marriage or business. How can the two walk together when they are not agreed?
-If there's goodness in my life, confess/send the sin away. Do God's will. Separate myself from sin

1 Corinthians 10:31-33

Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jesus, Greeks, or the church of God

Even the monotonous humdrum, tasks of daily life

Its a whole life's focus

It is not me but the greatest privilege that I, can be sharing the love of Christ

-Not to stumble/offend them, but also not to compromise the truth

Amen.

Ezra 8:21-23

The gracious hand of the Lord is on everyone who looks on to Him

Ezra proclaiming a fast to humbly ask of the Lord for His protection

Do we remember what we have shared of the Lord with unbelievers, than carefully safeguarding it by being faithful demonstratots of it?

The Lord answered their prayers even before they left

Be careful that you don't fall!

-Even when we are tempted, the faithfulness of God provides a way out 

We will not be overpowered

-God will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear

What is in a name? A name is what our parents hope for us to be. Jesus was a righteous, holy man on earth. We should become more like Jesus.

I may be healed, filled with the Holy Spirit, or to be called into a new ministry

To study, obey (seeking the Lord)/observe (doing what is good) (prayer) and to teach the Word of God

What is prosperity? Prosperity is something emotional, mental, social/spiritual well-being of each and every individual in the community

Ezra 4:1-3

We do not serve the same Lord; we do not teach the same thing

If I believe Jesus is the way, I should not be bashful about it

I am to encompass a loving boldness to declare He who is mine

Be strong in the Lord

Thy body is to be dedicated to God like vessels, the temple for holy use

Flee from temptation. Do not compromise even as an exception

My Lord bought me at the highest price that I could be paid for

I will honour Him

Day of despair

Ezra 3:11-13

Praise and thanksgiving to be the Lord

His love endures forever

The foundation of the Lord was laid. But many of the elder priests and Levites and family heads wept aloud when they saw the foundation of this temple being laid

I remember the sins that brought this temple/of me down

Yet, this grace that saw me through

A mix of cry and joyous praise

-Stranger, pilgrim of the earth, are you looking for a city, or one whose foundation is built on God?

1 Corinthians 5:4-6

Hand this man over to Satan, so that the sinful nature may be destroyed

When I am no longer under the covenant of the fellowship, I am out of this umbrella of blessing, comfort and encouragement

My sinful nature spirals out of control, chosen to cavern in

Not only the physical suffer, the soul and spirit agonizes too, infecting my whole group

Turn the eyes to repentance
